The aims of the study were to compare the relationships between the attitudes to the program and the problem solving abilities of postgraduate students in Primary Teacher Training Programs. The sample of the research consisted of 53 post graduate Primary Teacher Training students from Dokuz Eylül, Gazi, Anadolu and Uludağ universities. Data was collected through a “Problem Solving Scale developed by Paul Heppner and translated into Turkish by Nail and Nesrin Şahin, and an “Attitude Scale of Post Graduate Students" developed by the researchers. The data obtained was analyzed with the t- Test, the Analysis of Kruskall Wallis, the Correlation Coefficien and the”Mann Whitney U Test”. According to analyzed data some meaningful differences were found between postgraduate students from the point of view of the university variable. A high level meaningful correlation was found between attitudes towards programs and problem solving abilities among graduate students.. However, there was no meaningful correlation between doctorate students’ opinions in relation to their attitudes and problem solving abilities.
