Abstract

This paper presents the opinions of faculty members regarding the courses in the Secondary Teacher Education Graduate Program. We have made semi-structured and focus group interviews with the faculty members (total 47 persons) for each course by using specified interview guides. We used two interview guides for each theoretical and practical courses. We analyzed the data descriptively. Findings provided comprehensive information about course implementations. Faculty members stated that they do not have goal settings, there are some problems related to teaching activities, unsuccessful students pass their classes and they have not a special addressee to reflect their opinions. Consequently, the study indicates that Secondary Teacher Education Graduate Program’s lessons are not applied effectively and there is an urgent need for taking precautions.
