The study population of the research was comprised of 1,437 administrators who work at the primary schools in the subprovinces of Greater Ankara Municipality and 516,326 parents of the students. The sample of the study included 284 administrators and 384 parents of students from a total number of 92 primary schools which were chosen randomly among six districts out of fifteen. The validity and reliability studies of the scale were completed prior to its application and it was observed that the scale met the required reliability and validity criteria accepted in similar research. According to the results of the study, the duties concerning ‘school security’ were seen as the ones that were expected to be performed by the administrators at the highest level for both groups.
