Abstract
The purpose of this research is to investigate whether the coping behaviors of adolescents vary according to school type, grade level and gender. For this purpose the measurement device called Adolescent Coping Orientation for Problem Experiences was administered to 464 high school adolescents. Anova comparisons yielded significant main effects for school type, grade level and gender. The results are discussed in terms of western literature.
