Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the perceptions of school administrators and teachers regarding Curriculum Laboratory Schools. Data acquired from the school administrators and the teachers who work in 11 Curriculum Laboratory Schools (7 primary schools and 4 high schools) in the provincial center of Malatya were used. Data were collected using a questionnaire developed for the study and administered at the schools. Frequencies, arithmetic averages and standard deviations were calculated; and the differences between the perceptions of school administrators and teachers were tested according to their gender, status and seniority, using analysis of variance and t-test. The findings indicate that the project provided some technical opportunities for the Curriculum Laboratory Schools, but that the qualifications of the staff were not improved by the project.
