Abstract
The aim of this study is to find out whether pre-school teacher trainees can form, during their practicum, a lesson plan model which they think can be used in real life conditions. In this study, the document analysis method was adopted. Data were collected from examining the lesson plans designed by the teacher trainees during practicum. Furthermore, a questionnaire using open-ended questions was administered. A content analyis technique was used to assess the collected data. The results of the study indicated that the majority of the teacher trainees could not create a lesson plan model which can be used in real life conditions. This article also contains some suggestions for teacher trainees to produce an efficient lesson plan
