Abstract
This study considers the relationships between children’s trait anxiety levels and their mother’s trait anxiety levels and the effects of some variables, such as gender, number of sibling, and mother education level on the children’s trait anxiety levels. Results showed a positively significant correlation between children and their mother’s trait anxiety levels. Gender, number of sibling, parent’s education levels, maternal employment and economic levels do not significantly affect children’s trait anxiety levels. The mother’s age, however, did have a significant effect.
