Abstract
In this study, the problems assistant superintendents meet while working in elementary and secondary schools are discussed. Existing and possible problems in the system of superintendency are reviewed. Furthermore, the relationship between the experienced superintendents and the assistant superintendents are scrutinized in this paper. This research encompassed the assistant superintendents who were at the Yalova- Esenköy Educational Training Center in order to improve their superintendency skills. Suggestions are made for improvements to the system of superintendency.
