Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether the perceptions of supervisors and teachers regarding the teaching activities of primary school teachers, as a critical dimension of classroom management, had changed due to the years that the supervisors and teachers worked and the school from which teachers and supervisors graduated. In this research, survey research method was used. The population of the study consisted of 1017 teachers who worked at primary schools in the city of Eskişehir and 140 primary schools’ supervisors who worked in the cities of Eskişehir, Afyon, Bilecik, Kütahya and Konya. The data was organized in the form of frequency and percent, and “x2” tests were performed using significance level of .05. The findings of the study indicted that there was a significant difference between the perceptions of supervisors and teachers regarding the activities of primary school teachers in planning, applying and evaluating the teaching process. While the supervisors found that the teachers were not capable enough in planning, applying and evaluating the teaching process, the teachers found themselves that they were capable of doing these kind of activities
