Abstract
The aim of this study was to explore the effectiveness of one-week science workshop on science and mathematics teachers’ views of the nature of science. In such a workshop, teachers designed and applied a project with their advisors. In order to explore the teachers’ views of the nature of science, Views of Nature of Science (VNOS-C) questionnaire was applied at the beginning and end of the workshop. In data analysis, content analysis was applied. According to results, it was seen that teachers had inadequate views about science at the beginning of the workshop and teachers’ views about nature of science didn’t change considerably at the end of the workshop. Teachers progressed more on empirical, tentative and imaginative-creative aspects of the nature of science
