Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a scale to determine the attitudes of high school students towards school. A total of 495 students attending 9th-12th grades participated in this research. The research data is obtained from the 5 point Likert type scale with 43 items. The results of the EFA indicated that the scale has one factor with three components factorial structure including 20 items. It has been found that Cronbach alpha for all scale, first, second and third components are 0,91; 0,87; 0,81 and 0,79 respectively. The results of CFA indicated that factor structure fit with the data. It is concluded that the scale is a reliable and a valid tool for measuring the attitudes of the students towards school.
